Here's where I'll post games I make.
Ardith's Trials Demo
"Ardith's Trials" might take you around an hour and a half to complete. It's still in its fledgling status. This is actually
the first game I ever made... and second and third. I've simply remade them so they're actually GOOD. I reckon my first game
could be an entry in the Worst Game Ever Contest.
Anyway, Ardith is the main character, and he is trapped in a dream world. You must help him escape, but when you do escape,
that's not the end! You can explore a little bit of the real world as well, but the demo ends pretty quickly afterwards.
One apology - for the intro. Don't be put off because I didn't bother making a proper intro. It gets MUCH better, believe
me. And if you think it's a cliche story... bite me.
Secret of Spriteland (Demo)
Okay, this one was originally made by Rusty (aka that little gnome thing). Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get
in touch with him. If anyone says I need to take this off the site for legal reasons, say no more. But it's pretty hard to
ask for permission when there's no way to contact you.
Anyway, this one's another short demo. Did any of you play
Secret of Mana? One of the best Snes games ever (standing beside Chrono Trigger, in fact). This game was made as an epilogue
to one of the characters, a sprite whose default name was Popoi. The demo includes a snazzy intro of the adventures the party
had, and a couple of maps of forest and a small town, and that's... that's it really. Shame, isn't it?
But wait! There's
more! SRS (that's me!) fixed the HUD, so it records your HP all the way up to Level 50 (max level) and it doesn't lag, either!
There are also a couple of add-ons I made. 3 special bosses (one ripped off from a friend of mine) and a strange ending. Players
of 'In My Heart She Remains' and 'The Goddess Blade' will know what I'm talking about. Take a look. With Rusty's roots,
and my add-ons, I think it's pretty respectable.
Ashes of the Past (RPG Maker XP)
We have a link, but no pictures. It's a VERY short demo on what I believe could be my masterpiece. I came up with a whammer
of a story on holiday, and I got so excited that I had to write down every aspect. Unfortunately, my notepad's gone missing
so I've lost a little of the information. Never mind.
Now, we know that the default heroes are the most hated, but I have actually put a personality to Arshes, Alex's replacement.
He's cold and selfish on the outside, and cares on the inside. That inside is touched when his grandmother, who died the day
before, appears to him as a sort of ghost. Now Arshes must collect his grandmother's Urns (which contain the Ashes of the
Past), but why has his grandmother changed her mind? Could someone possibly want them? Arshes will go on an unforgettable
journey to save his grandmother's spirit, which will lead him across the world!
Drawn Into Paradox - RPG Maker 2000
Unfortunately, no game or screenshots. Evar. This game is now dead. And it's very shoddy too, so I don't think I'll
ever release it due to shame with it. The text about this game below is not updated.
Basically this game is all about me (not SRS - the true me, whose name in real life you shall learn in the game) and
a few friends and family members of mine. We're all warped to another dimension, but why?
This game is unique in that everyone has their own sets of skills and their own way of gaining skills. For example, a
friend called Yuki can use all his skills from the beginning - except he has to surrender a turn to charge them. He can charge
it up to Level 5 (insanely powerful). However, he is not able to recharge his MP by Green Tears (Magic restoration items),
he can only recharge them at inns.
Another friend called Alfie (who has his own website - check links) has skills that are weak, and he can be called the
worst character in the game at first, as pretty much ALL of his skills and statistics are mediocre. If you're patient, and
train his Pivot skill, he can be promoted by a man in the Vertigo Heights, and upgrade both his skills and statistics!
I have made sure that I have not fallen to the temptation of making all characters uber-powerful, as that would be no
fun at all. I'm not affected much by cold, but I can't take the heat (in real life). That is taken into the game itself. Every
character has their own strengths and weaknesses, and there are around 10 party members available, my biggest party roster
yet!
This is another game I'm excited about, and you should be, too.
Sins and Virtues - RPG Maker 2000
A collaborative game I'm making with Soolar. Basically, it's the game I've been working on most throughout this past
year.
The story: A man, probably one of the nicest you'll ever meet (intentional cliche, I assure you) is saddened by the fact
that the only job he's really good at is being a bounty hunter. On one particular mission, to cut down a tree and bring the
lumber back to the client, he invokes the wrath of a druid (who happens to be ME!!). Before they can sort out their differences,
though, a terrible scream is heard throughout the forest, and the two team up to see what's going on. From there on, an unforgettable
adventure begins!
